The Boltonia Wind Chime is different from other chimes as it is “polyphonic”. In laymen's terms, this means the musical texture consists of two or more simultaneous lines of independent melodies.
Five sets matching note tubes, in a circular alignment hang center point of a wooden spherical clapper. This chime pays tribute to the Boltonia lautureana, the far eastern daisy and creates a wonderful spring song, celebrating the blooms of the summer solstice. Accented with acrylic suncatchers and a glass leaf shaped wind catcher. Hand-crafted with bronze colored aluminum tubes.
