Kokeshi x Grass

Japanese kokeshi dolls are beloved traditional toys as well as lucky charms for good fortune, harvest or health. They are made from wood with a simple trunk and head. No arms or legs. Hand painted faces and bodies give Kokeshi a distinc- tive look. This aesthetic inspired Kokeshi Green — a ceramic cup featuring a Kokeshi motif, which grows rye grass atop its head mimicking hair.
